Theory Prerequisite
Both levels demand a theoretical basis in implantology. If you lack a prior certificate, you can register now and complete HKU's online "Implant Dentistry" course via Coursera. Proof of enrollment is accepted at registration, and the certificate must be completed before our clinical week begins.

Frequently Asked Questions
I don't have a theory certificate in implantology yet. Can I still apply?
Yes. You can register now and complete HKU’s “Implant Dentistry” online course via Coursera. You must provide proof of enrollment and complete the certificate before our clinical week begins.
Should I choose Level 1 or Level 2?
Choose Level 1 if you want to build a rock-solid surgical foundation by placing 30 implants. Choose Level 2 if you are already placing implants and want to master lateral window sinus lifts (7 guaranteed).
Are the patients provided by the program?
Yes. The Universidad Odontológica Dominicana (UOD) provides a steady, pre-screened patient flow directly through their university clinic.
Does Level 2 include complex vertical or horizontal bone regeneration?
The core focus and guarantee of Level 2 is the lateral sinus lift. While complementary procedures (like a ridge split) may occur if a specific case calls for it, complex GBR is not the guaranteed focus.
Can I bring a companion or family member?
Yes, upon prior consultation. Your companion can share your hotel accommodation (subject to hotel policies and extra costs) but they cannot enter the university clinical area.
Is there a 3-day version of the course?
No. 3 days do not allow participants to acquire sufficient dexterity and clinical confidence. The true value of our program lies in the surgical repetition over the full 5-day clinical week.
